ESA Events Announced

Thu, 03 October, 2024

Two more events have been announced by the UK Space Agency and ESA Policy and Operations Team, designed to help you gain information and expertise to enter the space industry.

The first of these events, ‘ESA 101,’ is due to be rolled out to several cities, starting with a proposed event in Cambridge, UK. This will provide background information about the ESA and is currently due to take place on Wednesday 6 November, 2024 from 9:30-14:00 GMT at King's College, Cambridge (Venue to be confirmed).

Attendees will be welcomed to the event before being given information on the Space Cluster and further information about the ESA. This practical and informative event will help businesses engage with the ESA and the UK Space Agency covering essential topics such as the ESA’s industrial policy, current activity and programmes, the basics of ESA procurement and how to navigate through ESA STAR.

In addition, attendees will be able to connect with industry peers, learn first-hand from those who have already successfully collaborated with the ESA, and ask questions of the UK Space Agency, Space Cluster and ESA Ambassador teams. You can find out more and register for this event, here.

There are also plans to hold a series of bid writing workshops in different cities across the UK, with the first of these workshops planned for Friday, 11 Oct 2024 at 09:00 GMT. This is currently due to be held at 3 Whitehall Place, London. More details will be released soon.
